2003 winners are Rita Garner and Annie Hawkins! Rita Garner has made outstanding contributions to the union by helping to revamp flexiplace processing. Annie Hawkins has fought for clericals to receive delayed promotions. The 1st annual award ceremony was held in August 2003 in the Federal Ralph Metcalfe Building in Chicago, Illinois, GSA Conference center. Pictured Left to Right in the first picture are Samantha Harvey, Awards Committee Chairperson, Annie Hawkins, Award Recipient, and Rita Garner, Award Recipient. The President of Local 704 presented the awards at the ceremony. There was much fun, food, networking, comraderie, and cause for celebration. Congratulations, Rita and Annie!
