Our Very Own Wins Appeal!

Jeff Bratko, Vice President, Labor Relations Professional Unit and Chief Steward for Local 704 recently won a huge victory against Agency attorneys on behalf of one of our members in a recent arbitration. However, although Jeff won the victory at the Arbitration, the Agency appealed the Arbitrator's decision to the Federal Labor Relations Authority. AFGE Local 704 through the efforts of Jeff Bratko, won the appeal as well! Here's the link.

As a result of Jeff's efforts, the total amount of pay and benefits that will be paid out to the employee and/or his retirement accounts will be in excess of $14,000.00! At this point, it is the Union's understanding that this figure may not include the Agency contribution to the TSP, life insurance, etc.
